Guy Ritchie’s action comedy film “The Gentlemen” is getting a spin-off on Netflix, which is set to arrive on the platform on March 7th. This time, the story will be told in the form of a TV series and it will star Theo James, known for roles such as Divergent, The White Lotus and more.

Ritchie, famous for films such as Snatch, RocknRolla and the Sherlock Holmes’ films adaptation, will return to the series as creator and writer, alongside Matthew Read. The latter has worked in productions such as Only God Forgives, Peaky Blinders and The Neon Demon.

The original film, released in 2019, follows Mickey Pearson, portrayed by Matthew McConaughey, an American expatriate in London who has become wealthy in the marijuana business. However, when rumors spread that he’s going to sell his empire, various criminals vie for the opportunity.
