This week on Netflix US, there’s some new titles that have entered the Top 10. While on the film side, the British action thriller “One More Shot” has debuted in the eighth spot, in the film series a new addition to the charts is the horror drama “Evil.”
The series, which originally aired on CBS and Paramount+, has also debuted on the eighth spot of the Top 10 in the US, according to FlixPatrol. It was released on April 30, with the first two seasons dropping out on the platform.

While the series is now available on Netflix, it doesn’t mean that you can’t find it on Paramount+, where all three seasons are available. But, now that “Evil” has found a new home, it is possible that the horror show, which has been critically acclaimed during its run, will finally have the popularity that it deserves.

The show’s premise, as all procedurals, follows a case-of-the-week episodes, often featuring unexplainable or supernatural elements. “Evil” centers around forensic psychologist Dr. Kristen Bouchard, who collaborates with a Catholic seminarian and a technology contractor to probe cases potentially linked to the supernatural.
Katja Herbers portrays Kristen, while Mike Colter plays David Acosta, the Catholic seminarian. Aasif Mandvi, Kurt Fuller, Christine Lahti, and Michael Emerson also star, with Emerson playing the villainous Leland Townsend.
Created by Robert and Michelle King, known for “The Good Wife” and its spinoff “The Good Fight,” “Evil” has garnered widespread critical acclaim and a devoted fan base, boasting an average rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.
