Envious” is the new comedy that joined Netflix‘s catalog just a week ago and has already become one of the most-watched series. Despite its brief time on the platform, it has already been confirmed for a second season.

The plot centers around Vicky, a woman approaching 40, who increasingly feels envious as she watches her friends get married before her. Tired of this, she gives her lifelong boyfriend an ultimatum: either they get married, or she leaves him.

Starring Griselda Siciliani (Patty’s World, Farsantes and Sin código), the first season combines situational comedy with a deeper exploration of self-discovery, commitment and the pressures of adult life.

Regarding the plot, we could expect Vicky to make decisions about her love life, possibly choosing between Dany (played by Martín Garabal) and other characters, which would generate more drama and comedy in the storyline.

Additionally, the season might explore how these decisions impact her relationships and personal growth. Several actors, including Benjamín Vicuña and Esteban Lamothe, are expected to return.
