Envious” is the new Netflix venture that just arrived in the catalog a few days ago and has already become a global success, securing a spot in the Top 10. This Argentine comedy series has a great future ahead.

The Argentine dramedy follows Vicky, who gives her lifelong boyfriend an ultimatum: marry her or she’s leaving. When things don’t go as planned, she pursues her dream of marrying a new partner.

The story explores the complexity of human relationships, envy and competition, as well as the struggle for power and recognition in an often hostile social environment, alongside the journey of self-discovery.

Could Envious get a second season on Netflix?

Yes! Envious could and will have a second season on Netflix. Argentine journalist Ángel de Brito confirmed that the new episodes have already been filmed, so they are expected to arrive in the catalog sometime in 2025.

The series has been so successful that the actors bet on its continuation, filming the upcoming installments right after the first season. Victoria (played by Griselda Siciliani) will have her revenge and will once again lead the comedic story.

Produced by Adrián Suar and directed by Gabriel Medina, the upcoming installment is still in production, so it is not yet known what it will be about. However, it is expected to continue exploring Vicky’s internal conflicts.

Additionally, it is also expected to delve into the relationships she maintains in her environment and with the new people who have entered her life, showcasing the effects of her actions and decisions on the lives of those around her.
