Netflix’s beloved period drama “Bridgerton” will return for its third season stronger than ever. After breaking records with its second installment, which followed the story of Kate and Anthony Bridgerton, the third series will now follow the friends-to-lovers tale of Colin and Penelope.
However, after the first trailer dropped on April 11th, many fans of the series have taken notice that Francesca Bridgerton, who hasn’t been a much prominent character in previous seasons, will be more important this season.
Back in May 2022, Netflix announced that Francesca’s character was being recast after Ruby Stokes, who played her during the first two seasons, left the series to star in Lockwood & Co.
