The sequel to Beetlejuice is underway, and multiple stars from the original movie will return to haunt viewers with their original characters. Here, check out who will participate again in the horror comedy.

Beetlejuice is back for the long-awaited sequel, starring Jenna Ortega, which arrives 36 years after the release of the original film, which has gained a cult status among movie fans and a loyal fan base.

Tim Burton returns as the director responsible for the project, which will feature an extensive cast of top-tier stars. Some of them have also been present in the previous film, such as Michael Keaton.

After its release in 1988, it was praised for its impressive production design and innovative visual effects, along with the extravagant and often grotesque characters and settings that have become icons.

Which actors are back for Beetlejuice 2?

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will not only bring back the memorable characters that have marked an entire generation and the horror genre, but many of the original actors will also return to reprise their old roles.

Michael Keaton will be returning to co-star in the drama, portraying the iconic deceased demon who continues to haunt humanity. Alongside him, Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder will return as Delia and Lydia Deetz.

It has also been confirmed that there are some stars who will not be participating in the sequel, such as Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis, who portrayed the deceased couple Adam and Barbara in the 1988 version.

Despite there being some absences, the cast will be filled with top-tier stars, and one of the standout performers is Jenna Ortega (Miller’s Girl), who will be one of the protagonists in the role of Astrid Deetz.

In addition to the young Wednesday actress, those who will bring new characters to life include Justin Theroux, Willem Dafoe, Burn Gorman, Arthur Conti and Monica Bellucci, who will play Beetlejuice’s Wife.
