Emerald Fennell’s satire ‘Saltburn’ has been one of the most talked about movies on social media since its release on Prime Video in December. The reactions have been mixed, especially when talking about the script, but Barry Keoghan’s performance has been universally praised.

Keoghan plays Oliver, an Oxford student who becomes infatuated with classmate Felix (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to stay at his eccentric family’s estate during the summer. The film also stars Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, and Archie Madekwe.

The film, directed by Nick Rowland, is a crime drama that stars Keoghan and Cosmo Jarvis. It was an adaptation of the short story of the same name from the collection “Young Skins” by Colin Barrett. It currently has a 94% of approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie follows ex-boxer Douglas ‘Arm’ Armstrong, who works as an enforcer for the Devers family, known for their drug dealings. Juggling this violent role with being a good dad to his autistic five-year-old son, Jack, Arm faces a tough choice when asked to take a life for the first time.

The Banshees of Inisherin (2022)

For this film, directed and written by Martin McDonagh, Keoghan earned nominations for Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes and Oscars, and won a BAFTA for his performance. He appears alongside Colin Farrell, Kerry Condon, and Brendan Gleeson.

The movie follows Pádraic, who is heartbroken when his friend Colm abruptly ends their lifelong friendship. With support from his sister and a troubled local youngster, Pádraic tries everything to mend the strained relationship.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017)

Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, this psychological horror thriller also stars Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Raffey Cassidy, Sunny Suljic, Alicia Silverstone, and Bill Camp.

The story follows a cardiac surgeon who introduces his family to a teenage boy with a connection to his past, after which they mysteriously begin to fall ill.
