Silent Hill, that was created by Keiichiro Toyama, is not only a popular psychological horror video game but has, over the years, become a successful franchise that includes multiple movies and spin-offs.

Each installment has left an indelible mark on the genre, influencing numerous games and media with its focus on psychological terror and mature storytelling, becoming a current pillar in the industry.

Soon, “Return to Silent Hill“, a new film adaptation, will be released. It will feature the same director as the 2006 movie, Christophe Gans, who also served as a co-writer alongside William Josef Schneider and Sandra Vo-Anh.

When will ‘Return to Silent Hill’ be released?

Return to Silent Hill will be released exactly 18 years after the first adaptation hit theaters. The highly anticipated movie is currently in post-production and is expected to debut sometime in 2025.

This time, the story follows James Sunderland, who is devastated after parting ways with the love of his life, Mary. Amid his mourning, he receives a strange letter from his spouse, asking him to return to Silent Hill.

As he desperately searches for his beloved, he encounters terrifying creatures and begins to unravel what happened to the town. But as he delves deeper into the darkness, the secrets he uncovers lead him to a horrific truth.

Who are the cast of ‘Return to Silent Hill’?

The one set to star in the horror drama is Jeremy Irvine, who has been chosen to portray James Sunderland. The cast will include multiple stars and some significant names in the industry.

In addition to the actor from Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, the cast will feature Hannah Emily Anderson, Howard Saddler, Robert Strange, Eve Macklin, Pearse Egan, Alana Maria, Emily Carding and Slavisa Ivanovic, among others.
