After productions like the Gossip Girl series and the supernatural horror movie The Invitation, Thomas Doherty returns to the screen with a mega-romantic story, which will be filled with great musical moments: “Dandelion“.

Nicole Riegel is the one who has directed and written the drama, which portrays the life of a singer-songwriter who gives a concert in South Dakota, where she meets a guitarist with whom she will have an instant connection.

Aaron and Bryce Dessner, the Grammy-winning artists behind The National, are the ones in charge of the soundtrack of the movie, which also stars KiKi Layne (The Old Guard and If Beale Street Could Talk) in the role of Dandelion.

KiKi Layne and Thomas Doherty (Descendants) show great chemistry in the roles of the main characters, being a key element, as well as their performance of the songs, as both sing in the movie.

Aaron and Bryce Dessner created original music for the production, so the soundtrack is expected to be an important piece in Nicole Riegel‘s new work. The Grammy winners previously collaborated with artists like Taylor Swift.
