Following the release of the series Fallout, video game adaptations have become mega popular among fans, and now it’s time for the “Borderlands” movie, which is already available in theaters.
The film was directed and written by Eli Roth (Inglourious Basterds), with the help of Joe Abercrombie (Love, Death & Robots) . As expected, the success brought together some of the biggest stars in the industry to star in it.

Could Borderlands get a sequel?
Well, the reality is yes! We won’t give away any spoilers, but the ending of “Borderlands” is quite open, leaving room for both a sequel and even a prequel. There’s plenty of material to explore.
For now, nothing concrete has been mentioned, and the actors haven’t confirmed their return, but it’s not ruled out. Hopes are high due to producer Randy Pitchford’s comments to Screen Rant. He said:
“I think it’s reasonable to imagine that we’ll start talking about the next Borderlands movie here. Maybe before the end of the year; we’ll see. Maybe sooner. But we’re working very hard. And I have the largest and best team I’ve ever had working on what we know our fans want from us. So I’m very, very excited. I can’t wait to talk about it. I wish I could talk enthusiastically right now“.
With these remarks, the CEO of Gearbox has opened the door to a possible sequel, but everything depends on how well the first adaptation performs, which is already available in theaters across the country.
