<p>Great news for all video game fans! <strong>Borderlands</strong> will have its own adaptation, and it’s just a few months away from making its debut on the big screen, starring some of the most well-known actors in the industry.</p>



<p><strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/cate-blanchett">Cate Blanchett</a></strong> is leading the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/category/films">film</a>, which was directed by <strong>Eli Roth</strong> and co-written  with<strong> Joe Crombie</strong>, based on the video game series of the same name developed by Gearbox Software.</p>



<p>Despite many not having high expectations for the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a>, even labeling it the “disaster of the year”, opinions have changed after the trailer was released, as it looked quite brutal and like a sea of madness. </p>



<h2>When will Borderlands be released?</h2>



<p><strong>Borderlands</strong> finally has a release date, and the new <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/sci-fi">science fiction</a> adaptation will hit the big screen on <strong>August 9, 2024</strong>. So, just a few months left for the video game to take another form and become “reality”.</p>

<p>The characters will make their big leap to the silver screen in an adventure reminiscent of <em>Suicide Squad</em> and <em>Guardians of the Galaxy</em>. In the first trailer, published by the game’s official site on YouTube, we see how madness quickly unfolds.</p>



<p>The famous shooter has been extremely successful and has gained recognition from both critics and players. It incorporated a mission-driven narrative with a touch of black humor, so we can expect more of the same in the movie.</p>



<p>The story unfolds on the fictional planet of Pandora, where players take on the roles of treasure seekers, vault hunters, and embark on missions to find alien technology. Now, A-list stars will be doing this for you.</p>



<h2>Who are the cast with A-list stars?</h2>



<p><strong>Cate Blanchett</strong> will bring the main character, <strong>Lilith</strong>, to life, who in the game is a Siren with psychic abilities, agile, and can traverse distances quickly with her special ability, Phasewalk.</p>



<p><strong>Kevin Hart </strong>will portray <strong>Roland</strong>, a soldier and former Crimson Lance soldier, known for his support and leadership skills. He can deploy a turret as his special ability, providing tactical advantages to his team.</p>



<p><strong>Jack Black</strong> will lend his voice and life to <strong>Claptrap</strong>, a small yellow rectangular robot. He is famous for his unique and eccentric personality. Although a robot, he exhibits attributes and behaviors often resembling those of a human.</p>

<p><strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/jamie-lee-curtis">Jamie Lee Curtis</a></strong> will embody <strong>Dr. Patricia Tannis</strong>, an archaeologist and scientist specializing in Eridium, an alien substance. She is portrayed as a brilliant but unbalanced person with obsessive tendencies and peculiar behaviors.</p>



<p><strong>Ariana Greenblatt </strong>is <strong>Tiny Tina</strong>, an orphaned girl with extraordinary skills in explosives and mechanics. Despite her youthful appearance, she has a penchant for explosions and a rather particular sense of humor.</p>



<p><strong>Florian Munteanu</strong> will play <strong>Krieg</strong>, whose full name is Psycho Krieg the Vault Hunter and stands out as a Psycho struggling to maintain his sanity and control his killer instincts, as he feels a love for violence.</p>

<p>The rest of the cast is quite extensive, with figures like <strong>Haley Bennett</strong>, <strong>Gina Gershon</strong>, <strong>Edgar Ramírez</strong> and <strong>Cheyenne Jackson</strong> participating as notable characters in the story but not as the five protagonists.</p>
