Great news for all video game fans! Borderlands will have its own adaptation, and it’s just a few months away from making its debut on the big screen, starring some of the most well-known actors in the industry.

The characters will make their big leap to the silver screen in an adventure reminiscent of Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy. In the first trailer, published by the game’s official site on YouTube, we see how madness quickly unfolds.



The famous shooter has been extremely successful and has gained recognition from both critics and players. It incorporated a mission-driven narrative with a touch of black humor, so we can expect more of the same in the movie.



The story unfolds on the fictional planet of Pandora, where players take on the roles of treasure seekers, vault hunters, and embark on missions to find alien technology. Now, A-list stars will be doing this for you.

Cate Blanchett will bring the main character, Lilith, to life, who in the game is a Siren with psychic abilities, agile, and can traverse distances quickly with her special ability, Phasewalk.



Kevin Hart will portray Roland, a soldier and former Crimson Lance soldier, known for his support and leadership skills. He can deploy a turret as his special ability, providing tactical advantages to his team.



Jack Black will lend his voice and life to Claptrap, a small yellow rectangular robot. He is famous for his unique and eccentric personality. Although a robot, he exhibits attributes and behaviors often resembling those of a human.

She is portrayed as a brilliant but unbalanced person with obsessive tendencies and peculiar behaviors.



Ariana Greenblatt is Tiny Tina, an orphaned girl with extraordinary skills in explosives and mechanics. Despite her youthful appearance, she has a penchant for explosions and a rather particular sense of humor.



Florian Munteanu will play Krieg, whose full name is Psycho Krieg the Vault Hunter and stands out as a Psycho struggling to maintain his sanity and control his killer instincts, as he feels a love for violence.
