One of her recent works was in “The Bear“, the series that has received over 20 nominations for the Primetime Emmys. During the Creative Arts Emmys, the actress took home a statuette for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Is Jamie Lee Curtis an EGOT star?
Unfortunately, not yet! Jamie Lee Curtis is not yet an EGOT star like some of her peers. However, this week she won her first Primetime Emmy for her performance in The Bear, where she played Donna Berzatto.
The actress has not been directly involved in the music industry or in Broadway theatrical productions, which is what she needs to achieve EGOT status, as it requires an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.

Despite this, the star, who will soon appear in Freaky Friday 2, has celebrated her new Emmy award in a big way, as she had only been nominated for one of these back in 1998 for her work in the TV movie Nicholas’ Gift.
After receiving the award for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, Jamie shared several photos of her victory and wrote a few words on her Instagram, where she said, “Christmas came early” and thanked her The Bear team.
