“Bad Boys” has proven to be a consistently successful and popular film series, especially due to its incredible blend of intense action with comedic moments, backed by the charismatic pair of actors.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have returned to star in “Bad Boys: Ride or Die“, the fourth installment of the dramatic saga, and they have been working together for years, as the first one debuted on the big screen in 1995.
As is the case in each of them, the music of the scenes is a very important factor, as it has helped to establish the tone and atmosphere of the comedy, and the score must be able to balance these elements.

How to listen the Bad Boys: Ride or Die soundtrack
The official soundtrack of Bad Boys 4 premiered on the same day as the comedy, on June 7th of this year. This means that it’s already available for playback through Apple or Spotify.
Some of the songs that appear on the album released by Sony do not appear in the film adaptation, as it only includes 10 tracks. There are three songs that have been made for the movie but are absent:
- Light Them Up by Will Smith and Sean Paul
- Bam Bam by Shenseea and Myke Towers
- Brand New by 21 Lil Harold
On the other hand, the album of the official soundtrack does not include Lorne Balfe’s score; instead, it is available separately under the title “Bad Boys: Ride or Die (Original Motion Picture Score)”.
