Action, adventure and a sci-fi prequel that will make you want to belong to the world of Mad Max characterize the new dramatic film starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth: Furiosa.

The story follows a young Furiosa, who is taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers as the world falls apart, and ends up in the hands of a large horde of bikers led by the warlord Dementus.

George Miller (Three Thousand Years of Longing and Mad Max: Fury Road) directed the movie, based on a script he wrote together with Nick Lathouris (What I Have Written and Only the Brave).

When would ‘Furiosa’ debut on streaming?

It is still quite early to know when the prequel with Anya Taylor-Joy will debut on streaming, but it is believed that it will arrive on Max (the streaming platform of Warner Bros. Discovery).

According to the releases that the company has already launched on the service and research by Popverse, George Miller‘s new drama should be available online a few months after its theatrical release.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga premiered at the Cannes Film Festival just two days ago, and its theatrical release in the United States is scheduled for May 24 of this year, while it will arrive in Australia on the 17th.
