The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/oscars">Oscar</a>-winning film “The Zone of Interest,” directed by Jonathan Glazer, has become the most-watched movie on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/max">Max</a>, just four days after its arrival on the platform, according to FlixPatrol. The film has surpassed other popular titles such as “Wonka” and “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.”



Co-produced between the United Kingdom, US, and Poland, the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> stars Christian Friedel and Sandra Hüller. It received five nominations for the Academy Awards, winning two: Best International Feature and Best Sound.



In addition to the acclaim from the Academy, the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> won the Grand Prix at Cannes and three British Academy Film Awards, including Best Film Not in the English Language. It was also named one of the top five international films of 2023 by the National Board of Review.



<h2>What is “The Zone of Interest” about?</h2>



Glazer adapted the screenplay from the 2014 novel by Martin Amis. The movie focuses on the life of Rudolf Höss (Friedel), one of the commandants of Auschwitz, his wife, Hedwig (Hüller), nicknamed Hedy; and their three daughters and two sons.



While the story is fictionalized, the Hösses did exist. Glazer, who started developing the movie in 2014, conducted extensive research on the family. The film centers mostly on the domestic life of the family and was filmed with hidden cameras.

However, one of the most chilling aspects of the movie is the sound, which includes screams, gunshots, dogs barking, and more, serving as a reminder of the tragedy that occurs behind closed doors. Many critics have praised this, with Sean O’Hagan of The Guardian writing: “It is an unsettling film: a study in extreme cognitive dissonance.”



According to Glazer’s interview with The Guardian, he wanted to “make it a narrative that you, the viewer, complete, that you are involved in and ask questions of.”

<h2>Timothée Chalamet’s ‘Wonka’ beat all the odds with charm</h2>



Apart from Chalamet as the titular character, the cast includes Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Grant.



Chalamet admitted to GameRadar+ that he was skeptical of accepting the role because he didn’t want the film to feel as a “cynical money grab,” but he was convinced as he thought the script, co-written by King and Simon Farnaby, was “very clever.”

He also said that King is a “director you don’t say no to,” as well as he desired to do a musical. And, against all odds, the film received mostly positive reviews, and he was praised for his singing and dancing. However, not all critics were too convinced.

After being delayed due to the strikes, ‘<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/dune">Dune</a>: Part Two’ arrived in theaters on March 1 to become the biggest hit of the year so far. However, many people wonder when the film will be released on streaming.



The movie, produced by Legendary Films and distributed by Warner Bros., will be available for streaming on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/max">Max</a>. Before the release date was confirmed, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav joked during a fourth-quarter earnings conference that the movie could arrive in spring 2024.

In the sequel, Paul learns how to live in the desert with the tribe Fremen, who think he could be their awaited messiah. Talking to IndieWire, Villeneuve explains that the first film is “more contemplative” than the second, in which Paul “becomes a man, a guerrilla fighter falling in love, and wants to avenge his father, and it’s more of an action movie.”

While it is still available to watch in some theaters, the sports <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> is finally available to watch at home.

In an interview with Wonderland Magazine, Durkin revealed that the film was a “lifelong” dream project and what he wanted to “both celebrated the family, celebrated wrestling, celebrated this great moment in their life, and showed their brotherhood and their love, but also examined and challenged wrestling and these sort of false ideals of manliness.”

The movie was named one of the top 10 films of 2023 by the National Board of Review, and it received positive reviews. Critics praised the performances of the cast, particularly Efron’s, as well as the wrestling scenes and how the film explores toxic masculinity. Matt Smith, who plays Daemon Targaryen, has teased the release date of Season 2 of “House of the Dragon.” According to ScreenRant, the actor said in a podcast with the BBC that the series could return to script in August of this year.

Both will be back to continue the story, and the production has already confirmed new actors joining the cast, portraying some classic game characters.



The second season was set to premiere shortly, but due to the actors’ and writers’ strike, the date was postponed, along with the filming and production by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. This time, the plot will have a five-year jump, introducing many changes that have been in the works for some time.

As expected, the protagonists have not changed, and Pedro Pascal along with Bella Ramsey will return to portray the classic characters, Joel and Ellie. On the other hand, it has been revealed who will take on the role of Abby Anderson, and it is the young actress Kaitlyn Dever (No One Will Save You, Dopesick and Booksmart). The news was published by Max’s official site on X and by its creators, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. They commented:



“Our casting process for the second season has been identical to the first: we sought world-class actors who embody the essence of the characters from the original material. On Friday, January 2, 2024, it was confirmed that the great Catherine O’Hara joined the second part as a guest star in an undisclosed role. The star of Beetlejuice and Home Alone is the first major guest figure to be announced, following several cast additions by HBO for the new episodes.

HBO provided an official description of the character, stating that she is “an expert soldier whose black-and-white view of the world is challenged when she seeks revenge for those she loved”.



The second part of the adaptation also features a five-year time jump, and this time we won’t see a 14-year-old Ellie; instead, in the new installment, she will be 19 years old. As a young adult, she embarks on a quest alongside the unfamiliar Abby, following her and her faction across the country to the dilapidated outskirts of Seattle.

During an interview with Collider, Pedro Pascal spoke about the start of filming for the second season, and everything indicated that it would begin in 2023, wrapping up at some point in 2024. Therefore, although there is still no confirmed date, the new episodes should arrive in early 2025.
