Phoebe Dynevor might have gained worldwide recognition thanks to his role as Daphne in Netflix’s hit ‘Bridgerton,’ but the actress, who didn’t come back for its third season, is ready to keep taking the world by storm with several upcoming projects.

After starring in ‘The Colour Room’ (2021), ‘Bank of Dave’ (2023), and the acclaimed thriller ‘Fair Play’ (2023), particularly receiving praise for the latter, she has been building an impressive resumé. And the 29 year old even earned a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination in 2024.

However, that doesn’t mean that there’s no frustrations regarding the film industry for the star, who said early this year that “there’s not enough roles” in movies for women her age. “When I think about the girls my age… there’s way more room for them [men] and there is still not enough room for us,” she told The Evening Standard. Thankfully, that hasn’t been an impediment for her to find some roles.

Where to watch Phoebe Dynevor’s next?

Inheritance | 2024

Dynevor will play the lead in the upcoming Miramax spy thriller “Inheritance,” which will be directed by Neil Burger (Limitless, Divergent, The Marsh King’s Daughter). Burger, who co-wrote the script with Olen Steinhauer (Berlin Station), is also producing.

The logline of the film reads: “When Maya (Dynevor) learns her father Sam (Rhys Ifans) was once a spy, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an international conspiracy.” The rest of the cast includes: Ciara Baxendale, Daniel Joey Albright, Kersti Bryan, Byron Clohessy, Majd Eid, José Alvarez and Salim Siddiqui.

Anniversary | TBD

Dynevor is set to appear in this thriller directed by Jan Komasa, who is known for Suicide Room (2011), Warsaw 44 (2014), and Corpus Christi (2019). The movie also stars Diane Lane, Kyle Chandler, Zoey Deutch, Mckenna Grace, Daryl McCormack, Madeline Brewer and Rebecca O’Mara.

The film, which Komasa co-wrote alongside screenwriter Lori Rosene-Gambino, follows a formerly close knit family torn apart upon the rise of a new movement called “The Change” sweeping through the country.

Untitled Sony Pictures’ Shark Thriller | TBD

Dynevor will star in an upcoming untitled shark thriller distributed by Sony Pictures, and directed by Tommy Wirkola, who most recently was behind David Harbour-starring Christmas action movie Violent Night.

She will appear opposite Whitney Peak, who is known for the recent Gossip Girl reboot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feature will begin shooting in Melbourne in July. Also, while plot details are being kept under wraps, the reports say it revolves around a community that has to deal with shark attacks during a hurricane.
