Rather than detailing the reasons behind their split, the pair emphasized gratitude for the life they built together and their commitment to raising their son while continuing to work side by side.
Frankie Muniz and Paige Price Say Their Bond Will Continue Through Friendship and Co-Parenting
Frankie Muniz and Paige Price have announced they are divorcing following what they described as a private period of separation. In a joint statement, the “Malcolm in the Middle” actor revealed that the decision came after reflecting on how their relationship had evolved over the years. “After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,” the text read.
The couple also made clear that their son, Mauz Mosley Muniz, remains their top priority. “We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world,” they wrote, adding that they believe they have become “happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.” They also asked for privacy and said they would not be addressing further questions about the separation.
Muniz took a moment to recognize the role Price played throughout their relationship, expressing appreciation for the sacrifices she made while supporting his career. “She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter,” he wrote, while stressing that the respect and friendship they built together would remain intact. The former couple also confirmed they plan to continue running Muniz Racing together.
Their relationship began in 2016 after meeting at the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament in California. They became engaged in 2018 before eloping in Arizona the following year, later celebrating with a formal wedding ceremony in 2020. In 2021, they welcomed their son, Mauz, marking a new chapter that they now say will continue through a shared commitment to co-parenting despite the end of their marriage.
