Netflix has released its new historical comedy show, “The Decameron,” based on the 14th-century Italian short-story collection by Giovanni Boccaccio, featuring a cast of rising TV stars. One of these celebrities is Jessica Plummer, who is gaining significant attention for her portrayal of Filomena in the weekly series.
Set in 1348, the story follows a group of nobles invited to retreat with their servants to a grand villa in the Italian countryside to wait out the Black Death while enjoying a holiday.
