In a move that underscores her steady transition into film, Dua Lipa has joined the cast of A24’s upcoming comedy “Peaked”, as first reported by Deadline. The project adds the singer to an ensemble that already includes Emma Mackey and Connor Storrie, among others, as production gears up for the next phase.
A24’s ‘Peaked’ Builds a Stacked Ensemble
Directed by Molly Gordon from a script she co-wrote with Allie Levitan, “Peaked” centers on two former high school standouts attempting to recapture their past status at a ten year reunion. The premise leans into the tension between past reputation and present reality, following characters once feared by their peers as they confront how their lives have unfolded since.
Lipa’s role in the film remains undisclosed, but her addition places her among a growing list of recognizable names attached to the project. Alongside Mackey and Storrie, the cast features Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, Gabby Windey, Amy Sedaris, Owen Thiele, Jaya Harper, Emil Wakim, and Alex Consani.
The film marks another step in Lipa’s gradual move into acting. After debuting on screen in “Barbie” and taking on a supporting role in the spy thriller “Argylle,” she has described her early choices as a way to learn the craft while balancing her music career.
Her casting comes during an especially active period. In 2026, Lipa has remained focused on her Radical Optimism tour, adding a significant number of European dates while continuing studio work on new material. At the same time, she has expanded her presence in fashion and brand partnerships, maintaining visibility across multiple industries.
With production expected to move forward soon, “Peaked” positions itself as one of A24’s notable upcoming ensemble comedies, combining a high-profile cast with a premise rooted in nostalgia and reinvention.
