Fly Me to the Moon is the new Apple title that brings Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow and Jojo Rabbit) and Channing Tatum (Magic Mike and The Vow) back to the big screen in a romantic comedy-drama that takes you to space.

Greg Berlanti has directed the project, which premieres in theaters on July 12 of this year. Not only did it make it to the list of the most anticipated movies, but it is also expected to be one of the most successful.

When will ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ have its online debut?

Fly Me to the Moon” is an Apple Studios production, and although it was originally slated for direct streaming release on the platform, it was changed to premiere in theaters due to its positive test screening scores.

The romantic movie will debut on July 12 of this year, so we’ll have to wait a bit to see it available on Apple TV+. It has been confirmed that it will have its streaming debut sometime in October.

Before it becomes available on the service, it will also be released digitally starting in August 2024. Exact dates haven’t been published yet, but it’s just a matter of time until we know when it will be released to the public.

The story follows the brilliant marketing expert Kelly Jones (Scarlett Johansson), who is hired by NASA to work alongside launch director Cole Davis (Channing Tatum) , aiming to successfully land Apollo 11 on the moon.

Amid the tension of the lunar mission pitting the United States against the Soviet Union, the White House considers this mission too important to fail, thus commanding them to organize a backup plan of faking a moon landing.

However, amidst disastrous failed attempts, Kelly tries to repair NASA’s public image while attempting to convince a company to “sell the moon” to gain public support. Nevertheless, Cole believes this strategy makes no sense.
