Apple TV+'s Bad Monkey with Vince Vaughn becomes the No. 1 series worldwide

Although episodes of “Bad Monkey” are still being released, it had its grand premiere just over a week ago and quickly became the most-watched series on Apple TV+ worldwide.

The crime-action dramedy is a creation of Bill Lawrence (Scrubs and Ted Lasso). Each episode of the first season features stars such as Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers) and Michelle Monaghan (Pixels), among other celebrities.

The plot is based on the 2013 novel of the same name written by Carl Hiaasen, which has been one of the author’s bestsellers. The final episode will arrive on the platform on October 10, marking the end of the season.

Bad Monkey is the most-watched series on Apple TV+

The creator has been influenced by the author since he began reading his novels as a teenager, and this year he launched “Bad Monkey“, the Apple TV+ series that has become the No. 1 worldwide, according to Flix Patrol.

The story follows Andrew Yancy, a detective demoted to restaurant inspector in Florida. An amputated arm found by a tourist pulls Yancy into a world of greed and corruption that is destroying the land and the environment.

The title not only received praise from film critics but also highlighted the lead performances, the authenticity of the setting and the blend of genres, such as comedy with suspense and action.
