While production is underway, the creators have not yet revealed a release window, animation studio, staff, or voice cast.

The upcoming adaptation will mark the first full anime series based on “Alien Stage,” expanding a universe that has so far been told through animated music videos, side comics, artwork, and supplementary lore. Although the franchise has built an extensive narrative across multiple formats, the new project is expected to bring that story into a more traditional episodic structure for the first time.
Created by South Korean artists VIVINOS and QMENG and produced by Studio Lico, “Alien Stage” debuted on YouTube in September 2022. Set in a dystopian future where aliens have colonized Earth and treat humans as pets, the story follows young contestants forced into a deadly televised singing competition where defeat means execution. Its blend of science fiction, psychological drama, and K-pop-inspired musical performances quickly distinguished it from conventional web animation.
