“Love Hurts” brings together a pair of Oscar-winning actors we didn’t know we really needed on screen: Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose (West Side Story). The talented actors star in this outrageous action comedy.
The movie marks Quan’s first leading role since his acclaimed performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once in 2022. It is directed by Jonathan Eusebio (300 and The Bourne Ultimatum) , making his directorial debut.
The upcoming drama will hit theaters on February 7, 2025, shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles of next year. The script has been penned by the trio of Matthew Murray, Josh Stoddard and Luke Passmore.
Love Hurts rumored cast salary: Stars’ earnings
The producers of Nobody and Violent Night (Kelly McCormick, David Leitch and Guy Danella) have come together again, this time to carry out “Love Hurts“, the new action comedy that promises to stand alongside these productions.
The plot follows a real estate agent who is pulled back into the life he left behind after his former partner in crime reappears with a sinister message. Together with his brother, he must confront his past and the story he never fully buried.
Showbiz Galore, the site specialized in celebrity salaries, reported that the action film distributed by Universal Pictures has managed to secure a budget of $15 million, which is quite significant in the industry.
Although it has not been confirmed by the actors themselves, the outlet also indicated that Ke Huy Quan is the highest-paid cast member with a salary of $400,000, leaving Ariana DeBose in second place with $300,000.
