Nicole Kidman will be back on screen, breathing life once again into one of her most iconic film characters: Gillian Owens. Twenty-five years after the release of “Practical Magic“, its highly anticipated sequel has been announced.

The actress won’t be alone, as her co-star Sandra Bullock will also return for the continuation as Sally Owens. This time around, both will also serve as executive producers of the project, which is currently in development.

The release date and the official story have not yet been revealed, but it is estimated that it could premiere sometime in 2026, if all goes well. Akiva Goldsman will also return to write the script for the romantic drama.

Crime, mystery and suspense characterize this intriguing story, which follows a highly successful executive director who begins an illicit affair with her much younger intern, despite the risks and prejudices.

Harris Dickinson and Nicole Kidman portray the main characters, accompanied by stars such as Antonio Banderas, Jean Reno, Sophie Wilde, Esther McGregor, and Anoop Desai in other roles.

Halina Reijn (Bodies Bodies Bodies and Instinct) directed and wrote the script for the drama “Babygirl“, which is currently in post-production and is expected to hit the big screen on December 20th of this year.

Action, adventure and plenty of animation are some of the elements that characterize “Spellbound“, Nicole Kidman’s upcoming dramatic film, which will hit the big screen on November 22nd of this year.

The story follows the adventures of Ellian, the determined princess who must embark on a daring quest to save her family and her kingdom after a mysterious spell transforms her parents, the King and Queen of Lumbria, into monsters.

The actress will lend her voice to Ellsmere and will be accompanied by multiple stars, but among the most prominent are Rachel Zegler, Javier Bardem, John Lithgow, Nathan Lane, Jenifer Lewis, Goran Visnjic and more.

Holland, Michigan” is a suspense thriller centered around a woman who suspects her husband of cheating on her and embarks on an adventure of her own, only to discover the true and dark secret life of her husband.

Nicole Kidman, Matthew Macfadyen, Rachel Sennott and Gael García Bernal are some of the actors who have been cast in the project to bring to life the main characters of this intriguing story.

Behind movies of this genre, there’s of course great direction and writing, so filmmaker Mimi Cave will be in charge of bringing the drama to life, while Andrew Sodroski handles the script.
