If you had asked us in 2016 whether a “Snow White” live-action film would be on our bingo card for the next decade, we would have probably said it was unlikely. Yet here we are, eight years later in August, and the first trailer has just been unveiled at D23.

This year’s Disney event, known for announcing upcoming projects, has certainly made waves globally with news like the reimagining of “The Lion King” lore in the “Mufasa’ film and the CGI version of Stitch that’s taking over social media.

However, it’s Rachel Zegler‘s portrayal of Snow White that has sparked the most discussion. Not only has this project faced controversy since its announcement in 2016, but the newly released trailer has also left fans buzzing with questions. One of the biggest: Who will play the prince? Keep reading to learn all on Andrew Burnap.

Andrew Burnap’s age, height and trajectory

Andrew Burnap was born on March 5, 1991, in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, making him 33 years old. While his height isn’t officially listed on any profile sites, he appears to have an average stature, likely around 5 feet 9 inches (175 cm).

From a young age, Burnap was passionate about acting, dedicating himself to perfecting his craft over the years. He graduated at the top of his class from the Yale School of Drama. Shortly after, he made his professional debut in plays with the Public Theater. His early notable roles included being part of the ensemble in the 2014 revival of “King Lear” and playing Troilus in the 2016 production of “Troilus and Cressida.”

Burnap continued to build his reputation on stage, most notably with his performance in Matthew Lopez‘s play “The Inheritance,” for which he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play in 2021. His on-screen debut came with an episode of the crime drama series “Instinct,” and he has since accumulated twelve acting credits.

In the upcoming “Snow White” film, Burnap plays a character named Jonathan, rather than the traditional Prince Charming archetype seen in the 1937 classic. This shift likely reflects a modern approach, moving away from the traditional notion of a prince saving a princess to appeal to contemporary audiences.

The second, “Spare Room,” tells the story of a young widow who rents a room to a mysterious veteran, and is available on Prime Video.

Is Andrew Burnap single?

It’s difficult to determine whether Andrew Burnap is single or in a relationship, as his social media doesn’t feature any posts with a significant other. This could suggest that he is either not dating anyone or prefers to keep his personal life private.

In recent years, Andrew has been open about his views on love and sexuality, identifying as sexually fluid. This means his attraction to different genders can vary, and he doesn’t strictly identify with one sexual orientation. In a 2020 interview with Glamour UK, he explained:

“I very much identified as a straight man. I think I’ve benefited from the privilege of being assumed as straight my entire life, but I don’t identify that way. I’m sort of falling into the category of curiosity, questioning, and trying to understand my full self, and that’s a really vulnerable, scary but also beautiful place to be.”
