Pillon” is Alexander Skarsgård’s new project currently in pre-production. It’s a dramatic film that will be directed and written by Harry Lighton (Wren Boys, Leash and the short film Pompeii).

The story follows Colin, a shy man who meets Ray, a confident leader of a biker gang, and initiates him into a submissive relationship, challenging Colin’s mundane existence and fostering personal growth through their unconventional dynamics.

So far, the only confirmed cast members are Alexander in the role of Ray, and Harry Melling (Harry Potter and The Devil All the Time) as Colin. The narrative is based on the book of the same name written by Adam Mars-Jones.

Murderbot | TBA

Murderbot” is an upcoming drama series that combines various elements and genres like science fiction and action. Its first season will star Alexander, David Dastmalchian and a diverse cast of talents.

The story follows a security android struggling with emotions and free will while balancing dangerous missions and a desire for isolation, evading detection of its self-hacking while finding its place.

The narrative is based on the book of the same name written by Martha Wells, with a screenplay developed by Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz, who will also be directing the episodes.

The Pack | TBA

Alexander is no stranger to the horror genre and will soon star in “The Pack” alongside Florence Pugh, where he will not only have a significant role but also serve as the director.

The horror movie tells the story of a group of documentary filmmakers who travel to the remote wilds of Alaska to save a nearly extinct species of wolves.

The project is still in pre-production and will be based on a story written by Rose Gilroy (The Edge of Sleep), who will also co-adapt the screenplay with Sophia Silver (The Highwaymen and Over/Under).

The Tiger | TBA

The Tiger” is a movie that blends adventure and suspense. The plot brings together Alexander, who will portray Vanzin, with “The Amazing Spider-Man” actor Dane DeHaan, who will play Kanchuga.

The drama follows a Siberian tiger that attacks humans who invade its habitat. A conservationist ranger confronts the supernaturally powerful tiger in a battle where only one can survive.

Myroslav Slaboshpytskyi is directing the film, as well as adapting the screenplay along with John Vaillant. The project is currently in pre-production, with no defined release date yet.
