HBO Max anunció en febrero su llegada a Latinoamérica a mediados del 2021 y finalmente luego de meses de espera este martes 29 de junio será hora de comenzar a disfrutar de la plataforma. El servicio de streaming de WarnerMedia se lanzó en mayo de 2020 y se prepara para una expansión mundial que lo hará competir con los gigantes de la industria. En su primer año promete pisar fuerte con el estreno de grandes producciones y además cuenta con icónicos títulos como Friends, Harry Potter o Game Of Thrones. ¡Mira el contenido completo!
La plataforma cuenta con 17,2 millones de suscriptores actualmente y la estrategia de Warner para hacerla crecer es muy audaz: estrenará 17 películas en cines y en HBO Max al mismo tiempo. Entre ellas se destacan el corte de Zack Snyder de Justice League, Godzilla vs. Kong, Mortal Kombat, Dune y The Matrix 4. Este sistema híbrido le hará crecer en usuarios y suplir las pérdidas en las salas ante la pandemia del coronavirus.
La táctica de la compañía también incluyó las salidas de éxitos como Friends y Harry Potter del catálogo de Netflix. Ambos casos se podrán disfrutar en la nueva plataforma a partir de junio. Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, Veep, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men y The Office son otros clásicos títulos que estarán entre las opciones.
Además, HBO Max cuenta con producciones propias que son furor a nivel mundial. The Undoing, Euphoria, Watchmen y Tenet se encuentran entre el contenido original que hará aún más fuerte al servicio de streaming. También prepara series nuevas como la precuela de GOT, House of the Dragon.
Como si fuera poco, a su vez tiene la licencia de las películas de DC. Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice y Aquaman se ubican en la biblióteca. El corte de Zack Snyder de Justice League se sumará a la plataforma para el último trimestre del 2021 en uno de los estrenos más esperados.
