Who was sent home on DWTS Season 33? Week-by-week recap
- Week 2
The first week of “Dancing with the Stars” was all smiles, with no eliminations, but things quickly turned serious in week two. During the premiere, Julianne Hough revealed that not one, but two couples would be leaving next time. With the tension high, the night unfolded under the glamorous theme of Oscar Night, setting the stage for a nail-biting elimination.

In the end, Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov, along with Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa, were sent home. Tori and Pasha delivered a heartfelt rumba to “This Is Me” from “The Greatest Showman,” earning a score of 19/30. While praised for taking risks and emotionally connecting with the music, the judges also pointed out some technical flaws in their routine.
Anna Delvey and her pro partner Ezra Sosa performed a quickstep to “The Devil Wears Prada” iconic track “Suddenly I See” by KT Tunstall. Their performance garnered a 17/30, with the judges offering mostly critical feedback. They encouraged Delvey to drop her public persona and show more authenticity in the competition. Despite the critiques, Delvey stayed true to herself, delivering a memorable exit when asked what she took from the competition, answering simply, “Nothing.”
- Week 3
Week 3 of “Dancing with the Stars” delivered top-tier entertainment! The couples took on “Soul Train Night” on October 7 and “Hair Metal Night” on October 8, culminating in a nail-biting double elimination.

After grooving to classic rock hits under the eye of guest judge Gene Simmons from KISS, with songs from Aerosmith, Whitesnake, and Twisted Sister setting the tone, the competition reached new heights. However, two pairs fell short of the mark.
Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, as well as Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, were the ones to bid farewell. VelJohnson and Slater performed a cha cha to Twisted Sister’s “I Wanna Rock,” earning praise for their energy despite fewer steps. They received a score of 21, totaling 43 over both nights. Roberts and Stewart danced a paso doble to Warrant’s “Cherry Pie,” admired for their effort but criticized for timing issues. They scored 22, bringing their two-night total to 46.
- Week 4
While Week 4 of “Dancing with the Stars” Season 33 allowed the remaining couples to breathe a bit with no double eliminations, the stakes were high as they were tasked with performing dances dedicated to someone important in their lives. We certainly shed some tears during these performances!

But no matter how beautifully they danced, one pair had to say goodbye at the end of the night: Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko, who dedicated a salsa to Brook’s sisters, set to the rhythm of “Mi Gente.” Unfortunately, they couldn’t find enough support to continue in the competition, leaving with a score of 32.
- Week 5
Disney is for people of all ages who seek to be entertained by stories filled with fantasy, songs, and endearing animation. Week 5 of “Dancing with the Stars” Season 33 aimed to pay homage to all the features that made us dream as kids and continue to move us as adults.

However, while all the dances made us wish upon a star with the most iconic tunes and characters, one couple had to say goodbye. After each pair performed their routines, they split into two groups for a chance at extra points, with Team Goofs dancing to “I 2 I” from A Goofy Movie and winning. Then, Phaedra Parks and the iconic pro Val Chmerkovskiy were sent home after dancing to “Cruella de Vil” from 101 Dalmatians, earning a score of 24. Although each judge gave them an 8, it wasn’t enough!
