Apparently, the producers of American Idol already have someone in mind to replace Katy Perry as a judge in the upcoming seasons, and it’s Miley Cyrus, who recently won two Grammy Awards.
According to Daily Mail, the team behind the reality show is considering the singer as the next addition to the cast. However, some executives think she is too bold for the program.

“She is a younger star with an audience that has grown up with her as Hannah Montana, and she is a celebrated pop star in her own right. Some key figures at ABC are concerned about Miley’s bold and open nature in saying or doing something that may not be necessarily family-friendly”, sources told The US Sun.
It was also reported that some producers believe Jennifer Lopez could be another option, bringing back the star of This Is Me… Now to be part of the panel, as she has done in previous seasons.
“A blast from the past is on the cards. They will ask JLo to return. When people come back, things work… people like nostalgia, and people like Jen. It would be a big win to get her back”, a source exclusively told Daily Mail.
