The episodes keep rolling by and American Idol is getting closer to the grand finale, but first, the highly anticipated Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Week must take place, where the Top 14 contestants will rock the stage.

The competition is stronger than ever and the judges, including the incredible Katy Perry, who will be leaving the reality show after season 22, will have to choose the artists who perform the best.

During this special week, participants will select iconic songs from artists or bands that have made a significant mark in the history of rock, such as The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, Queen and more.

When does the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Week take place?

According to the official schedule of American Idol season 22, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Week will take place starting on Sunday, April 21, from 8-10 pm ET/PT and can be watched on ABC and the Hulu platform.

This special week is exciting because it allows the contestants to showcase their interpretative versatility and their ability to capture the essence and style of legendary rock artists.

Each of the participants receives guidance and feedback from the judges and often faces the challenge of performing demanding songs that require outstanding vocal and emotional skills.

In the 2024 edition, Gene Simmons, the iconic singer and songwriter of KISS, will take on the role of mentor for each of the present artists. Also, the members of the week will be announced during the live broadcast for the first time.
