The long awaited and acclaimed AMC’s FearFest is returning for its 2024 edition, promising once again to deliver an exciting lineup of horror programming throughout October, culminating on Halloween itself.

The event will kick off with over 700 hours of horror content, featuring marathons of beloved franchises such as Friday the 13th, Final Destination and adaptations of Stephen King’s works, along with specials like Slasher Day.

Highlights include special episodes of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, focusing on classics like A Nightmare on Elm Street, alongside new series and features throughout the month​, such as The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Who is the host of AMC’s FearFest 2024?

The new version of the month-long horror special on AMC is hosted by the talented Janelle Monáe, who will guide viewers through a marathon of iconic horror movies, series and specials​ (like Creature Feature Marathon).

The artist not only takes on the important role of host but has also given fans a glimpse into her favorite horror films: An American Werewolf in London, Candyman, The Fly, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Puppet Master and Carrie​.
