<p><strong>Patricia Font</strong> (The Teacher Who Promised the Sea) directed the film, which has become the fifth most-watched on the platform worldwide, based on a screenplay written by <strong>Marta Sánchez</strong> (Down There).</p>

<p>“<strong>Love, Divided</strong>” is the new Spanish-language <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> that arrived on Netflix just a day ago and has already become the <strong>fifth most-watched</strong> on the platform worldwide, according to the specialized site Flix Patrol.</p>

<p><strong>Aitana</strong> portrays Valentina, while <strong>Fernando Guallar</strong> plays David. Both are the main characters, accompanied by great Spanish talents, including <strong>Natalia Rodríguez</strong>, <strong>Paco Tous</strong>, <strong>Miguel Ángel Muñoz</strong> and <strong>Adam Jezierski</strong>.</p>



<p>The title is an original production of the service and is a remake of a French romantic comedy, “Blind Date”, which was quite successful in Europe and has now returned to trend, but with its new version.</p>

<p>However, whenever a cinematic adaptation of a story popular among readers takes place, they search for every last detail. And many have been noticing certain differences. Check out what they are:</p>



<h4>Margaret, the orphanage director</h4>



<p>In the novel, the character of Margaret is replaced by Mrs. Fridge when Nica is 12 years old. Whereas in the movie, she remains as the orphanage director and mistreats the orphans under her care.</p>



<h4>Nica’s fight with Lionel</h4>



<p>The fight between Nica and Lionel happens quite differently in the book compared to the movie. In the adaptation, he is sober but Nica is drunk, and it’s Rigel who tries to defend her, leading to a large-scale fight scene.</p>



<h4>Asia, Alan’s girlfriend</h4>



<p>In the book, Asia’s story is detailed more, including her life and her relationship with Alan, the deceased son of Anna and Norman. However, in the movie, she only appears twice and it’s to highlight her disagreement with Nica and Rigel’s adoption.</p>



<h4>Story between Nica and Rigel</h4>



<p>One of the biggest differences is the speed at which the story between the main characters develops, especially from their first day in their new home. In the book, it happens a bit more slowly and progressively, marking more tension between them.</p>



<h4>The big finale</h4>



<p>Finally, the story concludes with Nica testifying against the director and rushing to the hospital to see Rigel. But this doesn’t happen exactly as in the novel, where she stays by his side throughout the months it takes for him to regain consciousness and come out of the coma.</p>

<p>In 2022, Deadline reported that there were going to be new faces in Bridgerton. One of them was<strong> Sam Phillips, playing Lord Debling</strong>, who, according to the description of the character is “genial lord with unusual interests … with wealth and a noble title to back up his eccentricities.”</p>



<p>It’s worth noting that Debling didn’t appear in the original book by <strong>Julian Quin</strong>n, <em><strong>“Romancing Mr. Bridgerton.” </strong></em>Phillips told Shondaland that his character is an “outsider,” and that he lives “on the fringes of society.” According to the actor, Debling is looking for a love match, and he thinks Penelope is perfect because she “is a little bit of an outsider like him.”</p>

<p>The project was acquired by Apple in 2022 in a<strong> $100 million deal </strong>following a bidding war between studios. First known as “Project Artemis,” the film has suffered some setbacks, such as<strong> Chris Evans</strong>’ departure from the project. Evans was supposed to play Tatum’s role but a production delay left him out of the film.</p>

On the other hand, it wouldn’t be the first time that a film explores new storylines without a book to adapt (such as the ‘After’ series).</p>
