<h3>Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off </h3>



<p>Despite being just rumors so far, it is believed that Ayo could star alongside <strong>Margot Robbie </strong>in the new spin-off of the iconic pirate franchise, originally led by <strong>Johnny Depp</strong>. According to Oli London, Disney is considering replacing the actor with Edebiri.</p>



<p>The actress would play a character named Anne, who would be the new version of Captain Jack Sparrow. Apparently, the production company is looking to fill the void left by the actor with a younger cast in the film, currently known as Pirates of the Caribbean 6.</p>

<p>The <em>Money Heist</em> actress has returned to her cinematic roots, once again taking on the role of a heist, but this time at an altitude of 12 thousand meters. The narrative is one of the many bets by the streaming service to refresh the heist subgenre, and everything indicates that it will attract a good number of viewers, especially due to its stellar cast.</p>



<p>Directed by<strong> F. Gary Gray </strong>and written by <strong>Daniel Kunka</strong>, the story follows a master thief and her ex-boyfriend who join forces to steal 500 million dollars in gold bars being transported on a passenger A380 airplane. <p>The plot revolves around an international band of top-level thieves belonging to the elite, recruited to prevent a terrorist attack scheduled to take place on a 777 plane flying from London to Zurich. The group is led by Cyrus Whitaker, who receives orders from his ex-girlfriend and the FBI.</p>

<p>Despite many Netflix users giving Lift a chance and enjoying it, some critics were not very satisfied with the plot development and its ending. <strong>Robert Daniels</strong> from The New York Times was one of the first to write about the premiere and has labeled the action film as <em>“a poorly written action vehicle that pits Kevin Hart as the hero against an eco-terrorist villain”</em>.</p>

<p>Another critic who didn’t hold back in expressing his opinion was <strong>Kenneth Seward</strong> Jr. from IGN, who wrote on the official website, <em>“The problem is that Lift doesn’t use any of its available assets in a way that benefits the film. Most of the cast, for example, fails to establish any sense of character. They are not necessarily bad in their roles. They simply do not portray fully realized people effectively, and it’s hard to tell if the actors are hindered by mediocre material or if they are acting poorly”</em>.</p>

<p>While <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> </strong>hasn’t renewed the series for a second season officially, creators Byron Wu and Brad Falchuk have talked about their desire to continue the story. However, as they say, it all will depend on viewership.</p>



<h2>The Brothers Sun: What creators hope for a Season 2</h2>



<p>Talking with Netflix’s Tudum, Wu and Falchuk said that <em>“The end of the season is a happy moment for the family, but when you’re living as a gangster, <strong>you can never truly relax</strong>.” </em>Meanwhile, executive producer and director Kevin Tancharoen added, “<em>This is actually just the first step in a longer journey.”</em></p>

<p>On the other hand, when they were asked by Deadline about a potential release date, Wu said:<em> “<strong>Listen, we’d love to do season 2</strong>. Let’s hope we get those Netflix numbers going. And for me, I’m just hoping we get season two. This is my first, well I don’t know, show.”</em></p>



<p>In a potential Season 2, Wu and Falchuk think that <em>“The Sun family will <strong>struggle to maintain those clearly defined roles</strong>,” </em>as they explained to Netflix’s Tudum. Yeoh plays Eileen Sun, with Justin Chien portraying killer Charles Chairleg Sun. Meanwhile, Sam Song Li plays the naive Bruce Sun.</p>

<p>The series just premiered five days ago, but it has grown in audience. According to the website <strong>FlixPatrol</strong>, which collects viewership data, the series is currently the <strong>third most-watched this week globally</strong>, just behind Fool Me Once and Money Heist: Berlin. <h2>The Bear and Succession are favorites to win Emmys</h2>



<p>Typically held in September, the Emmy Awards were delayed due to the Hollywood actors’ and writers’ strike. That’s why there might be confusion surrounding the ceremony. However, shows such as <strong>The Bear</strong> and <strong>Succession</strong>, which already won big during the Golden Globes, are also favorites for the Emmy.</p>



<p>There’s an important distinction, though. For example, <strong>The Bear is competing for its first season, </strong>not its second. <strong>Ayo Edebiri</strong> and <strong>Jeremy Allen White</strong> could become first-time Emmy winners. Another series that is set to win big is the miniseries Beef, which also won three Golden Globes for Best Actor (Steven Yeun), Best Actress (Ali Wong) and Limited Series.</p>

<p>This time, the narrative follows Cady Heron, who becomes a hit with the Plastics, the A-list girl gang in her new school, and makes the mistake of falling in love with Aaron Samuels, the ex-boyfriend of the Plastics’ alpha, Regina George.</p>

<p>While the full reviews haven’t been disclosed yet, the first reactions by critics on social media, mostly X (formerly Twitter), have been fairly positive. For example, <strong>Buzzfeed’s Nora Dominick </strong>praised Rapp’s performance of <strong>“World Burn,”</strong> saying that it received applause during the screening.</p>
