One of the trending movies on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> this week in the US is “A Million Ways to Die in the West,” a Western comedy film directed by Seth MacFarlane, and originally released in 2014. According to FlixPatrol, the movie is the fifth most-watched on the platform (as of June 5).



MacFarlane co-wrote the script with his frequent collaborators Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, who are the team behind the hit comedy “Ted” (2012). He also stars in the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a>, which has a star-studded ensemble cast that includes names such as Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Neil Patrick Harris and Liam Neeson.



Filmed in New Mexico, including Albuquerque and Santa Fe, the movie centers around a timid frontiersman who finds his courage with the help of a woman gunslinger, leading to a showdown with her outlaw husband.



<h2>‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’ triumphs on Netflix</h2>



The movie is currently triumphing on streaming, and it was also a box-office success at the time of its release. The film grossed $43.1 million in North America and $43.3 million internationally, totaling $86.4 million worldwide against a $40 million budget.



Despite its financial success, A Million Ways to Die in the West received mixed to negative reviews. Rotten Tomatoes reported a 33% rating based on 212 reviews, with an average score of 4.90/10.

The consensus was that the film, while offering a few laughs and showcasing a talented cast, suffered from being overlong and aimless. Audience reception was somewhat better, with CinemaScore giving it an average grade of “B.”

The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> serves as a prequel set five years before the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” 



The first season of “Andor” was positively received, scoring a 96% of approval on Rotten Tomatoes. NPR’s Mandalit del Barco described the series as the “most complex, mature story in <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/star-wars">Star Wars</a> lore,” and it has been considered one of the best shows from the franchise since The Mandalorian.



(Mid-spoilers alert) Season 1 ended with Cassian officially joining the Rebellion, after Luther decides not to kill him. On the other hand, the post-credits scene reveals the construction of the Death Star, foreshadowing Cassian’s fate. Since Andor season 1 ended in November 2022, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installment. <h2>Is there a release date for Andor season 2?</h2>



Currently, there is no confirmed release date for Andor season 2. The season was initially slated for an August 2024 release, two years after the premiere of season 1. However, production delays due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes pushed this date back. Filming wrapped in February 2024, and post-production is now underway.



According to Tony Gilroy, the process could take nine months to a year. Stellan Skarsgård, who plays Luthen Rael, hinted in an interview that season 2 might be released towards the end of 2024 or early 2025.

The season will have 12 episodes and cover multiple years with four time-jumps, each spanning a year. The narrative will be structured into four three-episode arcs.
