The pop idol described the fantasy project, both documentary and musical, as “The most personal thing I’ve ever done”. Amazon MGM Studios, responsible for the production, summarized This Is Me… Now: A Love Story as a “cinematic odyssey infused with mythological narratives and personal healing”. Weeks later, the artist left a message for fans in an Instagram post, saying, “I haven’t been this nervous, excited, scared, and thrilled to share something with you in years”.
