In 2024, there will be a plethora of major releases and one of the most anticipated is a musical film starring Jennifer Lopez. This morning, the first teaser of This Is Me… Now was released and fans quickly wondered whether it is a fictional or autobiographical story.
Well, with exceptional choreography, celebrity cameos, stunning costumes, sets and visually impressive scenes, the plot is a moving tribute to the singer’s journey of self-healing and her unwavering belief in fairy-tale endings.
The film is directed by Dave Meyers while the pop icon herself co-wrote the script with Matt Walton. The cast will be filled with celebrity friends of the singer, such as Sofía Vergara, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Keke Palmer and her husband, Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez‘s new film not only references her life but also shares the same title as her upcoming album, which is set to be released on February 16, 2024—the same day the musical This Is Me… Now will debut on one of the most well-known streaming platforms.

This album marks her first solo project in 9 years and is produced under a new partnership with BMG. It is planned to be a sequel to the singer’s third studio album, which was titled “This Is Me… Then”.

This Is Me… Now: A Love Story is an exclusive musical film on Amazon Prime Video and starting from February 16, it will be available for streaming worldwide in the platform’s catalog.
This isn’t Jennifer Lopez’s first collaboration with the platform; on the contrary, she had previously released Shotgun Wedding with Josh Duhamel, Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Coolidge, Cheech Marin, Sônia Braga, D’Arcy Carden and Selena Tan.
