After being released on Netflix, “Sector 36” has become one of the best foreign titles on the platform this year, receiving positive reviews from many users, especially for its intensity during the two hours it runs.

The Indian film was directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, and although it is a fictional story, it is inspired by real events, which adds an extra touch. The screenplay was written by Bodhayan Roychaudhury.

The chilling production, starring Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal, tells the story of a serial killer who preyed on children and explores a narrative rich in themes of power, crime and social inequality.

Will Netflix’s Sector 36 have a sequel?

Well, it is highly likely that “Sector 36” will not have a sequel on Netflix. The story is inspired by real events, and it does a good job of covering everything that has happened without needing a second part.

The thriller follows several children who disappear from a slum (basti) in Sector 36. A determined police officer must confront a cunning serial killer as a chilling investigation unfolds and dark secrets are revealed.
