“Find Me Falling” is the latest romantic comedy added to Netflix‘s catalog, starring Harry Connick Jr. (Hope Floats and Independence Day) and Agni Scott (Bridget Jones’s Baby and The Young Messiah).
The story follows failed rock star John Allman as he flees to a dreamy Mediterranean island, only to discover that the notoriety of his cliffside home attracts unwanted visitors and an old lover.
Following the thread of its plot, it was expected to have a great soundtrack supporting each of the scenes. There were two songs in particular that were written by the actor himself, who is also a singer and pianist.
Will Find Me Falling have a sequel on Netflix?
So far, Netflix has not confirmed the arrival of a sequel for Find Me Falling. However, there is a glimmer of hope for those who are left wanting more of this incredible love story connected by music.
The film’s director and screenwriter, Stelana Kliris, spoke with Today about the future of the romantic comedy on the streaming giant. She said, “Quite frankly, I could very easily do a sequel to this as well. There’s a lot more to tell“.
She wasn’t the only one responsible for the drama to reference this, as the lead actor also mentioned it, stating that if there is a second installment, he would be more than willing to return to portray John.
“Wherever Stelana is, if she needs me, I’ll be there. I respect her that much, and I admire her that much“, Harry Connick Jr. said. This means that although there is no news yet, the story might continue in a big way.
