The Little Things became the No. 1 movie on Netflix US
“The Little Things” is a suspense and crime thriller directed by John Lee Hancock and released in 2021, which has now become the most viewed on Netflix in the United States, taking the top spot in the ranking.
Flix Patrol confirmed in its morning report that the drama has not only claimed the No. 1 spot in the American catalog but has also dethroned other important productions, such as “Split” with James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy.
The story is set in the 1990s and follows a police detective named Joe Deacon, who teams up with a younger detective, Jim Baxter, to investigate a series of murders in Los Angeles.
The plot unfolds when Deacon returns to LA from retirement to assist in the investigation. They soon discover similarities between the current murders and an unsolved case Deacon was involved in years ago.
As they work together to capture the killer, both detectives become embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse that challenges their convictions and tests their professional ethics.
In addition to Denzel Washington and Rami Malek, the cast includes the performance of Jared Leto, who plays the main suspect in the murders. The film focuses on the seemingly small but significant details that can make a difference in solving a case and in the struggle between good and evil.
