Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer has become a worldwide sensation with over 54 million views in the past three weeks. While the series is described as a “true story,” the real life “Martha,” an alleged stalker, wants to tell her story. Here’s what to know about her, and her interview with Piers Morgan.

Netflix’s Baby Reindeer has become the number one show on the platform (globally) since its release on April 11th with 54 million views so far. The series is inspired by the true story of Richard Gadd, who wrote and starred as a fictionalized version of himself: a bartender/comedian that gets stalked by a middle-aged woman named Martha… However, it seems like the real-life “Martha” has some things to say.

While Gadd has stated that he disguised the true identity of the woman for the thriller, Fiona Harvey, the real-life Martha, has revealed herself in an article with The Daily Record over the weekend. And she will appear in an interview with Piers Morgan set to be released on Thursday night (May 9) at 8PM GMT (4:00 PM EST) on his Youtube Channel “Piers Uncensored.”

According to what Harvey, 58, has told The Daily Record, she will express her anger for being portrayed on the Netflix series as an alleged stalker in the series. However, she isn’t too happy about her talk with the controversial broadcaster.

Netflix’s Baby Reindeer: Who is the real-life Martha?

In her interview with The Daily Record, Fiona Harvey, who allegedly inspired the character of Martha and was identified by Internet sleuths, described herself as a “very competent lawyer,” and told the outlet that she is considering legal action against Netflix for labeling the story as “true,” as the events of the series are “load of rubbish.”

She told the paper that she was “the victim here,” as she has received “death threats as a result of his show despite the fact that a lot of the things he claimed are just not true.” However, Gadd had urged viewers not to try and uncover the true identities of those featured in the show.

What did Fiona Harvey say about the interview with Morgan?

She told The Daily Record she wasn’t so happy about the result of the interview with Morgan, which was pre-recorded. She said that she felt “It was very rapid to try to trip me up. He did it fast paced to catch me off guard.” She also claimed that she “felt a little bit used.”

Harvey said that Morgan was insisting on the 41,000 emails she supposedly sent, to which she responded: “Look, even if I had sent some emails, it doesn’t mean I’m guilty of the rest of the stuff. As I said, in order to bill something as a true story, it’s got to be pretty much 100% true.”

What isn’t true on Baby Reindeer, according to Fiona Harvey?

One of the things that Harvey has refuted is the fact that she went to jail due to its alleged stalking. In the show, Martha leaves a threatening voicemail on Donny’s phone and gets arrested. However, in real life, it didn’t happen that way.

“Gadd needs to prove I went to jail which just didn’t happen. I’ve never been sent to jail. That is blatantly obvious,” she said, also stating that there aren’t “restraining orders.” However, Gadd himself has implied that the ending wasn’t what happened in real life, saying to The Irish Times that he didn’t want to lock up someone so mentally unwell.
