One of Netflix’s highest anticipated projects for this year is the sci-fi series “3 Body Problem,” which is an adaptation of the widely celebrated novel of the same name by Lui Cixin. The series will premiere on March 21, 2024, and it will have eight episodes.

Part of the excitement comes from the fact that the series was created by David Benioff and D. B Weiss, who are, of course, well known for bringing “Games of Thrones” to our TV screens. For this project, they work alongside Alexander Woo, who wrote for “True Blood.”

Woo told Netflix’s Tudum that the “scope and size of [the series] was really exciting,” especially “Having it rooted in a period of Chinese history was also really exciting.” Meanwhile, Wess said that they are “doing everything in our power to bring this story to life in the best, most impactful way possible.” Here’s all you need to know about it.
