Anora” blends comedy with romance and has been labeled as the next great masterpiece of Sean Baker (Tangerine, The Florida Project and Red Rocket), who not only wrote and directed it but also co-produced it.

The story stars Mikey Madison (Scream 5 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and follows the life of an exotic dancer amid personal and social struggles, offering a deep and humanized look into her world.

The movie has been described as a modern version of classics like “Cinderella” and “Pretty Woman”, but with a stronger dose of realism and social criticism, addressing themes such as the stigmatization of sex workers.
