Salem’s Lot has finally arrived on the Max platform after a long wait and just in time for the Halloween season. The movie has joined the long list of adaptations of the master of horror, Stephen King.
The story follows Ben Mears, a writer who returns to his hometown, Jerusalem’s Lot, to write a book. Upon arrival, he discovers that the town is being invaded by vampires, led by the ancient and sinister vampire Kurt Barlow.
The new version has been directed by Gary Dauberman, known for his work on the Annabelle franchise, having created the Conjuring universe and produced “It”. He has worked multiple times with the American author.
