Russell Crowe is ready to continue delving into the horror genre, and this year he will arrive with a new supernatural film: "The Exorcism". Here, check out when it will premiere on the big screen.

Russell Crowe has been venturing into the horror genre for some time, and this week it was confirmed that his next project will be “The Exorcism“, a new supernatural film hitting theaters in 2024.

The Gladiator actor won’t be the only star in the drama; on the contrary, he will share the screen with recognized names from the industry like Sam Worthington (Avatar and Clash of the Titans), Ryan Simpkins and Chloe Bailey.

Directed by Joshua John Miller (River’s Edge, Teen Witch and The Final Girls), the project was previously named “The Georgetown Project” but was later changed after receiving an R rating due to its content.

When will ‘The Exorcism’ be released?

The Exorcism” not only has its first teaser available, where we see Russell Crowe as Anthony Miller, but the release date has also been revealed. The suspense movie will arrive in theaters on June 7, 2024.

The story follows an actor with issues who begins to unravel during the filming of a horror movie. His estranged daughter wonders if he is relapsing into his past addictions or if something more sinister is at play.

The iconic Oscar-winning actor joined the production in October 2019, when the film was still titled “The Georgetown Project”. M.A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller are the ones who wrote the screenplay.

Sam Worthington will also have an important role in the story and will bring Joe to life. Meanwhile, Chloe Bailey appears as Blake Holloway, the actress who is starring in a horror movie.
