After the arrival of The First Omen, horror films have been generating significant trends worldwide, and now it’s the turn of Abigail, the new drama starring Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens and multiple stars.

The story is set after a group of criminals kidnaps the dancer daughter of a powerful underworld figure. They retreat to an isolated mansion but unknowingly find themselves locked in with a girl who is not normal.

Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, from a script developed by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick, the movie revisits the vampire myth and brings with it the best of the responsible filmmakers.

When is Abigail released online?

Abigail does not yet have a confirmed streaming debut date. However, being a production of Universal Studios, it is likely that after a theatrical run, the drama will arrive on the Peacock platform for only four months.

According to The Economic Times, the title will be available on the service for a short period of time, after which it will move to Prime Video for its official release. Additionally, it will also be available on VOD in May.
