Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) stars in one of the most anticipated titles of 2024: It Ends with Us. Yes, the popular novel by Colleen Hoover, which was a hit on BookTok, is coming to the big screen to portray the story of Lily Bloom.
The romantic drama follows Lily, who believes she has found true love with Ryle, but after a painful incident, past traumas resurface and she must decide if love alone will save her marriage, even when her first love returns.
Justin Baldoni (Jane the Virgin) is responsible for directing the film, as well as playing one of the main characters, the surgeon Ryle Kincaid. Meanwhile, Brandon Sklenar (1923 and The Big Ugly) plays Atlas Corrigan.
When will ‘It Ends with Us’ arrive on Netflix?
So far, there is no confirmed date for the streaming debut of It Ends with Us, but it could potentially arrive on Netflix towards the end of 2024. If everything goes as planned, it might be available on the platform around December.
Screen Rant reported that the partnership between Sony and the streaming giant suggests that the romantic title has earned a spot in the catalog. Therefore, a subscription will be required to stream the drama.
The adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book will hit theaters on Friday, August 9 of this year. It has been rated PG-13 and has a total runtime of just over two hours, covering the entire first novel.
