Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively and Brandon Sklenar (Westworld and 1923) are the actors chosen to bring to life the highly anticipated film adaptation of “It Ends with Us“, the novel written by Colleen Hoover, published in 2016.

The 40-year-old actor from Jane the Virgin, who plays Ryle Kincaid in the romantic movie, not only is part of the cast but also took on the role of director, while the Gossip Girl actress produced the project.

Following the press conferences and premieres, fans and readers have noticed what appears to be a problem between the filmmaker and the cast members. Here, check out the all drama and rumors…

Is there a beef between Justin Baldoni and the stars?

Justin Baldoni still follows his co-stars on Instagram. It might seem like a minor detail, but when combined with the fact that they haven’t been seen together on any red carpet or at press conferences, it’s quite unusual.

On the other hand, during the premiere held in New York on Tuesday, August 6, Jenny Slate (who plays Allysa, Ryle’s sister) gave a somewhat strange interview with Deadline reporter.

She was asked about what it was like to work with Justin as both a scene partner and director, but when she responded, she abruptly changed the subject and admitted that it was “hard work” to do both at the same time.

It hasn’t been confirmed that something specific happened, but there’s no doubt that something went on during the filming and behind the scenes. Even his friend Liz Plank didn’t take photos with him at the premiere…
