The upcoming “A Minecraft Movie“, a long-awaited project based on the popular video game created by Mojang Studios, has released its new trailer showcasing the main characters… We can definitely confirm that it will be a success.

The live-action title will star Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. With several of them being comedy experts, laughs are guaranteed.

Jared Hess is directing the action and adventure film, based on a script developed by Chris Bowman, Rob McElhenney, Hubbel Palmer, Allison Schroeder, Peter Sollett and Jon Spaihts (Yes, all of them worked on the story).

When is A Minecraft Movie coming to theaters?

With the first new trailer for “A Minecraft Movie“, we can confirm that the film will hit theaters on April 4, 2025. So, there are still a few months to wait before enjoying the film adaptation.

The epic story of adventure, struggle and action depicts how the evil Ender Dragon is on a path to destruction, prompting a young girl and her group of adventurer friends to try to save the Overworld.

In addition to the main stars, such as Jack Black and Jason Momoa, the comedy also features other significant actors, with standout appearances from Jemaine Clement, Kate McKinnon and Jennifer Coolidge.
