Why is “A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow” such a highly anticipated film? There are three main reasons: it’s the adaptation of Laura Taylor Namey’s beloved 2019 novel, and it features Maia Reficco and Kit Connor in the lead roles.
Fans of both actors are eagerly awaiting this movie. Since trailers typically aren’t released far in advance of the productions they promote, there’s a very good chance the movie will be out before the end of 2024.
It’s also highly likely that the picture will be released on Netflix. Fans of Kit Connor might have noticed that the title is listed on his résumé as being distributed by the streamer. Moreover, this wouldn’t be ACE Entertainment’s first collaboration with Netflix, as most of their productions have premiered on the platform. Plus, the #1 entertainment company would undoubtedly seize the opportunity to further develop Kit Connor’s image and career.
